With the warmer weather, skunks are starting to come out! They are usually most active at night. To prevent your dog from being skunked you can take the time to go out before your pup and check your yard for these little critters

Dog walking tip: say something when you approach a blind corner to let people know you are there with a dog. This gives people around the corner the opportunity to make an adjustment and avoid confrontations. Examples of actions the other person could take include: going a different direction, distracting their dog, or communicating with you!

As some of you may know my senior dog Aussie Love is deaf and visually impaired. She’s recently upgraded to some doggles to help protect her eyes! She has trouble adjusting when coming in from outdoors, and these doggie sunglasses will help prevent her eyes from having to adjust and protect her from UV light!
